Shapeyard is announcing a new “Shapeyard Stars” program to support the 3D content creator community for the metaverse. In the form of free lifetime premium subscriptions that usually go for $124.99 per year, Shapeyard will be granting access to the software’s full functionalities to 1600 of its most skillful users.

The goal of the program is to make mobile 3D content creation more accessible to talented industry individuals, as well as grow the network of high-quality 3D assets available for implementation in the rapidly growing metaverse space.

Starting on December 5 this year throughout the whole 2023, Shapeyard will be granting star creators rank badges, and premium accounts to the app’s users which will be handpicked by the staff team. Those who have created at least one featured asset on the app become automatically eligible for the program.

“Our team identifies a highly engaged community to be a core underlying aspect of the successful product. We are grateful to each and every of our early adopters that contribute to the development of Shapeyard and want to give back. Subscription grants is just the beginning of the Stars program. Going in hand with our product roadmap, in 2023 we will be allocating tokens to our star creators when the blockchain economy is implemented into Shapeyard. And the very most active creators are always welcomed to join our development team.” – said Ashot Gabrelyanov, the Founder and CEO of Shapeyard.

Shapeyard is aiming to solve the metaverse 3D content interoperability problem by automating topology generation in multiple levels of detail at exporting or streaming. Its proprietary engine, compatible even with mobile, provides SDF-based 3D modeling, lowering the entry barrier for 3D creation and allowing to produce interoperable assets for multiple platforms.

Shapeyard is targeting the audience of beginner 3D modelers with mobile devices (iPads, iPhones) and no access to desktop computers or laptops. Specifically, the rapidly growing Roblox creator community.

The software is currently available in alpha stage as an iOS app and currently has over 13.5k monthly active early adopters.

“I always wanted to get into 3D modeling but didn’t know where to start, since I don’t have a PC. Discovering Shapeyard through the App Store search on my iPad changed the game! Within a couple of days of playing around with the app I learned to create models that are in-game ready and I've already partnered with a programmer to work on our first title!”, says a Shapeyard user by the nickname of @officialworms, one of the app’s most popular content creators.

Shapeyard is a product of Magic Unicorn, the New York-based venture studio. The company is a part of the NVIDIA Inception accelerator program and has a background of building software primarily in the computer graphics, mobile artificial intelligence and augmented reality spaces. Its previous products and achievements include Chudo (Shorty Awards Winner for “Best Use of Artificial Intelligence”), Magic (Apple awarded as “Best of 2017”) and MakeApp (1.5 million users and 1,500 media mentions).
